What your score report looks like

Each mock ends with a report: an estimated score on the 1–6 scale with the 0–120 comparison and CEFR level, a band for each section, your weakest area and a recommended next practice set. Illustrative example on this page; your report comes from your own completed test.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the free test and a full mock test?

The free test takes about 20 minutes and covers Reading and Listening only. It gives an estimated score range, your CEFR level and your weakest skill. A full mock test covers all four sections in the real exam layout and timing, and ends with a full score report.

How accurate is the AI score?

Reading and Listening are marked against answer keys. Writing and Speaking are scored by AI against the exam's published criteria, so they are estimates, not official scores. Use them to see where you stand and what to practise; the official score comes only from the real test.

Is there a daily limit on AI feedback?

Without a pass you can do 3 practice sets a day, and AI feedback on practice answers comes with a pass. With a pass, AI feedback on practice has a fair-use daily limit. Mock tests are always scored and do not count towards it.

Can I prepare for both TOEFL and IELTS?

Yes. One account holds both. You choose TOEFL or IELTS when you buy a pass, and each pass opens its own exam. Switch exams with the TOEFL and IELTS links at the top of the page.

What happens when my pass ends?

Your mock tests and score reports stay available. Practice goes back to the free limit of 3 sets a day, and AI feedback on practice stops until you buy another pass. Buying again while a pass is active extends it from its end date.

Can I get a refund?

Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you haven't completed a full mock test. Email support@englishtestpractice.com with your account email. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Do I need a microphone? Which devices work?

Speaking needs a microphone; the test checks it before you start. Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Full mock tests are designed for a computer; the free test and practice also work on a phone.
